10th Matchday of Spanish League of Honor’s Division (19 and 20/05/2012)
Thirty three runs in thirteen innings scored Pamplona in his visit to Bembrive to win both games to Halcones de Vigo, 2 to 21 (KO, 6 inn) and 2 to 12 (KO, 7inn). The first match starter and winner, Alexis J. Fumero (3-5), struck out eight and batted-in seven runs to lead the best performance day of his team in whole season. Ronny Materano (0-4) allowed ten runs and lost the game. In the second game the reliever Juan Redín (2-0) pitched 2.1 innings to win the match. G. E. Guerrero, F. Peláez and A. J. Fumero batted-in nine careers between them to decide the game. The starter Alberto Jubera (0-1) only pitched two innings and lost the match.
CBS Sant Boi and Marlins de Tenerife divided victories in the series played in Sant Boi de Llobregat. The starters Leslie Nácar (6-0) and Lionel Hernández (1-1) kept a duel on the mound during eight innings, allowing only a run each one. In the high ninth inning Néstor Pérez hit a three-run double to sweep the bases and to initiate an definitive eight runs attack and win the game 1 to 9. Nácar struck out twelve and won and Hernández was the loser. The second game had the same result, 9 to 1, but this time for the local team. Rubén D. Fente (6-3) worked complete and only allowed a Richard Montiel home-run to win the game. Miguel Rizo (1-2) was the Marlins starter and also received William Domero home run. Worked six innings and lost the game.
In El Fango the local team San Inazio Bilbao Bizkaia defeated both games to El Llano, 10 to 3 and 14 to 3 (KO, 7inn). K. Marianucci hit three-run homer and M. Davalillo hit two-run double one-run walk to support the starter José V. Romero (1-1), allowing only a unearned run in six innings to win the match. The El Llano starter Carlos J. Beaujon (1-1) was the losing pitcher. In the second game were the D. A. Morillo and A. Izaguirre bats who headed the home team offensive. Edward Adames (2-1) was the winner and Javier J. Flores (1-6) lost the match.
Astros de Valencia only allowed two runs in the whole weekend to win the series to CB Viladecans 7 to 1 and 13 to 1 (KO, 7inn). Trevor Caughey worked complete, struck out ten and allowed a only one run to be the winning pitcher. B. S. Ochoa had a great batting performance and only he lacked the triple-hit to complete the Cycle. Juan C. Campos (6-4) lost the match. In the second game Pedro P. Belmonte pitched six innings and allowed a run and the first three Astros bats, Méndez, Salazar and Infante hit nine singles and scored eight runs to lead his teams. Pol Llopis lost the match.
In Burlada, Baseball Navarra and CB Barcelona only could play one game due to the rain. José L. Hernández (8-1) strikeout eleven in seven innings and allowed only a run in order that Barcelona was winning 1 to 7. In the first inning the visitors scored five careers and already they didn’t the advantage in the scoreboard. Harold Y. Rumion (4-5) was the loser.
In the near matchday, May 26 and 27, the following series will be played: CB Barcelona and Halcones de Vigo in the Montjuïc Municipal Field “Carlos Perez de Rozas”; Pamplona and CBS San Boi in Burlada; Marlins de Tenerife and San Inazio Bilbao Bizkaia in Puerto de La Cruz; Astros de Valencia and El Llano in El Turia and CB Viladecans and Beisbol Navarra in the Viladecans Municipal Field.
