After L&D Amsterdam erased a 0-6 deficit with a big rally in the bottom of the eighth, Kinheim answered right away, scored the game-winner in the ninth and prevailed 7-6 in the end. Dirk van’t Klooster hit a solo homerun to secure the win for Corendon. The game ended when Bas de Jong was thrown out at the plate by left fielder Bryan Engelhardt, trying to score from second on a single by Vince Rooi. Engelhardt and Rafael Jozefa each scored twice for Kinheim. Duko Jansen (KIN) allowed four hits and three walks in six scoreless innings. Jos de Jong (AMS) conceded eight hits and five runs in 5 1/3 innings. Nick Veltkamp (W) picked up the win, Pim Walsma (L) took the loss.

Lennart Koster and Linoy Croes combined for five RBI as Konica Minolta Pioniers defeated the Almere Magpies 10-2 on Sunday in the Dutch Hoofdklasse. A six-run rally in the sixth blew things wide open. Eddie Aucoin (W) struck out nine in seven strong innings, in which he allowed just one unearned run on two hits and two walks. Sten van den Bedem (L) issued eleven hits, eight runs (6 ER) and five bb in 5 1/3 innings.

Mr. Cocker HCAW won the evening game by a score of 6-1 against Sparta/Feyenoord. Wuilliuans Vasquez went 2-for-4 with a double and four RBI. Bart Gabriels and Randy Daal had three hits each for HCAW. Kyle Ward (W) pitched 4 2/3 strong innings in relief for the win. Gregory Gustina (L) surrendered 13 hits, six runs and two bb in six innings.

One day after needing a ninth-inning run to beat ADO, DOOR Neptunus celebrated an easy 10-0 shutout in eight innings. Leon Boyd (W) struck out twelve batters in six scoreless innings, allowing just five hits and two walks. Benjamin Dille drove in four. Jeroen Sluijter and Shaldimar Daantji scored three runs apiece. Ludwin Obispo (L) gave up six hits, six runs (5 ER) and a bb in 4 1/3 innings.
