UVV also won game two against ADO, prevailing 10-7 on Saturday afternoon. Danny Rombley scored three times. Fausto Alvarez drove in three. Jurjen van Zijl (W) allowed four hits, three runs (1 ER) and a walk in six innings. Nick Martin (L) issued seven hits, six runs and three bb in four innings.

Jourick Blanco went 3-for-4 with two homeruns and four RBI to lead Sparta/Feyenoord to a 5-4 win over the Vaessen Pioniers. Gregory Gustina (W) went the distance, giving up seven hits and four runs (3 ER). De Flanegin and Norbert Lokhorst homered for the Pioniers. Eddie Aucoin (L) was charged with five runs on seven hits in 7 2/3 innings. Hoofdorp had the tying run on third base with one out in the bottom of the ninth, but Gustina recovered and closed it out.

DOOR Neptunus scored five runs in the first two innings en route to an easy 9-0 victory. Kevin Heijstek (W) struck out eight in seven scoreless four-hit innings. Jeffrey Arends went 3-for-3 with three RBI. Eugene Kingsale scored three times. Joran Klarenbeek (L) surrendered ten hits, six runs and five bb in 5 1/3 innings.
Corendon Kinheim – L&D Amsterdam 7-6

After Thursday’s extra inning affair, Corendon Kinheim got some payback defeating L&D Amsterdam 7-6 in eleven innings on Saturday. A RBI single by Roy Seltenrijch and an error by the center fielder, plated the two decisive runs in the second extra frame. Both teams had exchanged runs in the tenth. Kinheim had tied the contest in the ninth on a RBI single by Bryan Engelhardt. Dirk van’t Klooster drove in three for Corendon. Bas de Jong homered for the Pirates. Duko Jansen (KIN) conceded eight hits, four runs (3 ER) and two bb in six innings. Jos de Jong (AMS) gave up three runs on eight hits in seven innings. Patrick Beljaards (W) got the win, Jurrian Koks (L) the loss.
