12th Matchday of Spanish Baseball League of Honor Division (June, 02 & 03, 2012)
CBS Sant Boi won his two games as local against the Halcones de Vigo. The starter Lionel Hernández (4-1) and the reliever Daniel Matías (S2) combined on the mound to win the first match 10 to 1. The Llames and Carrillo’s bats were the most active of the local line-up, in which took at-bat chance up to sixteen players. José R. Marte (0-6) lost the game. The second match finished for KO (8inn) 12 to 2. Rubén D. Fente (7-3) was the winning pitcher and William Domero hit two double-hits and batted-in four runs. José D. Cabral (0-7) only could work 3.1 innings to lose the game.
In El Fango’s first game between San Inazio Bilbao Bizkaia and Pamplona the starters Jose V. Romero (2-1) and Alexis J. Fumero (3-7) kept a intense eight-inning duel. Romero strikeout to fourteen, Adames take to home two runs and López (S2) saved in order that finally the local team were imposing 2-0. Fumero did a great work but lost the match . In the second game San Inazio also won 8-4. Alberto Magallón started for the local team and pitched four innings and Edward Adames (3-2) pitched five to take the victory. D. A. Morillo hit two singles and batted-in four runs to support the pitcher’s labour. Eneko of the Burgo was the losing pitcher.
Astros de Valencia defeated twice to Marlins de Tenerife, 11-2 and 16-2 (KO, 5inn). Trevor Caughey (8-1) worked complete again to win the first match. Infante and Ochoa homers and batted-in seven runs between both of them to guide the Astros offensive. Leslie Nácar (7-3) lost the match. In the second game Infante and Ochoa homers too and Pedro P. Belmonte (10-3) worked complete to defeat the Canary team. The starter Cristian Remedios (0-1) pitched only 1.2 inning and lost the game.
The local team, Béisbol Navarra, won in Burlada 11-1 (KO, 7inn) and 5-0 to El Llano. Harold Y. Rumion (5-6) was the pitcher winner. The Navarre club took advantage about six errors and batting thirteen hits to win comfortably. Wilquin Escanio (1-7) was the loser. In the second match Andrés Casado (6-3) and the relievers Yorking Céspedes and Aritz Leiva combined to shuotout El Llano. Javier J. Flores (1-8) lost the game.
CB Viladecans didn’t play this weekend due to European commitment of CB Barcelona, his matchday rival.
