Danesi Nettuno overcame a late deficit to edge out Cariparma Parma 2-1 on a walk-off RBI single by Vinicio Sparanga in the bottom of the ninth. One frame earlier Juan Camilo tied the game with another RBI single. Parma led since a third-inning solo homerun by Alex Sambucci. Marco Grifantini (PAR) was the story at the beginning of the game, allowing just one hit and four walks in seven scoreless innings. Kris Wilson (NET) gave up just one run on three hits in the pitcher’s duel. Remigio Leal (W) got the win, Justin Cicatello (L) the loss.

Unipol Bologna scored eight runs in the eighth to blow an 11-1 win over the North East Knights wide open. Gabriele Ermini highlighted the big rally with a two-run homerun. Livninston Santaniello and Juan Carlos Infante also had two-run hits in that frame. The two middle infielder combined for six RBI overall. Jesus Matos (W) pitched six scoreless three-hit innings for the win. Rodney Rodriguez (L) struck out seven in six, issuing six hits, two runs and two bb. Mattia Bucchi accounted for the lone Godo-Verona run with a solo shot in the eighth.

Darwin Cubilan (W) struck out nine in five solid relief innings to pick up the win. Renny Duarte (L) took the loss.
