CB Viladecans extended its winning streak in the Spanish Division de Honor with a sweep over Halcones de Vigo. In game one they scored in four of the first six innings en route to an easy 12-1 win. Eric Segura hit a homerun. Camilo Gonzalez went 3-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Alex Tenllado stole four bases and crossed the plate three times. Fabian Marques (W 3-8) issued just one run on six hits and three walks in six innings, while striking out seven. Roman Carrasco (L 4-7) conceded eight hits, seven runs (3 ER) and three bb in four innings.

In the second game Viladecans nearly blew a 5-1 lead in a 5-4 win. Denny Nino went 3-for-4 with a walk, two doubles and three RBI. Camilo Gonzalez scored three times. Marc Jodar (W 2-1) allowed four hits, a run and two walks in five innings for the win. Roman Carrasco scored twice for Halcones. Diego Corvalan (L 1-8) was responsible for six hits, five runs (4 ER) and ten bb in eight innings. He struck out seven.
San Inazio Bilbao – FC Barcelona 10-8, 2-8

San Inazio Bilbao scored nine runs in the first three frames to stun the FC Barcelona 10-8 in game one of their two-game set. Barca tried to come back, but the deficit was too big. Tony Granadillo homered for Bilbao. Edward Adames scored three times. Kelvin Marianucci and Asier Izaguirre combined for four RBI. Emmanuel Febles went 4-for-5 with three runs and a RBI for the guests. Jesus Golindano highlighted a five-run rally with a three-run homerun. Fidel Mane Torres (W 8-7) surrendered ten hits, eight runs (7 ER) and a walk in the complete game win. Oscar Gimenez (L 8-1) lasted just one-plus innings, giving up four hits, six runs and four bb.

The FC Barcelona struck back in the second game, as they collected 17 hits in an 8-2 victory. Nine players reached base at least twice. Miguel Mora scored three times, Albert Diaz drove in three. Asier Izaguirre hit a solo homerun for Bilbao. Pedro Pablo Belmonte (W 9-1) gave up six hits, two runs and two bb in nine innings. Alberto Magallon (L 6-7) allowed eleven hits, six runs and two walks in four innings. With the split Barcelona dropped back into a tie for first place.
El Llano – Baseball Navarra 0-6, 2-18 (5)

Baseball Navarra easily got to a sweep in Gijon against El Llano. In game one Juan Jose Lopez (W 10-4) struck out a season high 20 batters in eight scoreless innings to lead Navarra to a 6-0 shutout. He gave up just one single in the second and three walks in the game. Hector Perozo closed it out with a perfect ninth and also drove in two at the plate. Adrian Borges (L 0-7) allowed five hits, five runs (3 ER) and five bb in seven innings.

In the second game Navarra opened with ten runs in the first to crush El Llano 18-2 in five innings. Juan Jose Lopez and Larry Infante hit two-run homeruns during the rally. Juan Miguel Marte cleared the bases with a triple. He went 4-for-4 with four runs and four RBI overall. Diego Armando Perez (W 2-2) issued just five hits, two runs and two bb in four innings. Carlos Lopez (L 1-6) allowed seven hits, ten runs (3 ER) and a walk while registering just one out in the opening period.
CD Pamplona – Tenerife Marlins Puerto Cruz 0-13 (7), 2-11

Richard Montiel hit two homeruns and drove in four to lead the Tenerife Marlins to a 13-0 shutout over CD Pamplona in game one of their twin bill last weekend. Nguyen Boulet also went deep and picked up five RBI. Leslie Nacar (W 9-5) allowed five hits and two walks in five scoreless innings for the win. He struck out seven. Marcos Castillo (L 2-15) conceded seven runs on eleven hits in five innings.

Puerto Cruz also celebrated a blowout in game two of the series, as they won by a score of 11-2. Lesther Galvan homered, scored three times and drove in two. Nestor Perez went 3-for-5 with three RBI. Ivan Granados (W 12-5) got the win in relief of Antonio Noguerra who was on the mound for the first four frames. Juan Redin (L 2-10) surrendered seven hits, six runs (4 ER) and four bb in six innings.
CB Sant Boi – Astros Valencia 14-0 (7), 3-0

CB Sant Boi reclaimed first place in the Division de Honor standings with a pair of shutouts over the Astros Valencia. Marc Carrillo (4 RBI) and Daniel Sanchez (3-4, 3 RBI) homered in a 14-0 rout in game one. Jose Manuel Salazar crossed the plate three times. Junior Guerra (W 9-1) issued just two hits and three walks in five scoreless innings. He struck out eight. Norman Cowes (L 0-1) allowed eight hits, eight runs (6 ER) and four bb in four innings.

The second game turned out to be a pitcher’s duel between Jose Estebin Cruz (W 7-2) and Jordi Valles (L 5-7) with SB Sant Boi prevailing 3-0. Gaspard Fessy scored the first run in the fifth on a wild pitch. RBIs by Daniel Sanchez and William Domero added two more runs in the seventh and the eighth. Cruz allowed just three hits and three walks in eight innings for the win. He struck out nine. Valles issued eight hits, three runs and four bb in also eight frames.
