San Inazio Bilbao – Halcones de Vigo 3-2 (10), 9-2

San Inazio Bilbao and Halcones de Vigo opened week six in the Spanish Division de Honor on Friday with a doubleheader. In game one it was a bases loaded walk by Carlos Vicario in the bottom of the tenth, which lifted Bilbao to a 3-2 win. Vigo had the better start, taking a 2-0 lead in the top of the first on a wild pitch and an error. Asier Izaguirre cut the deficit in a half in the bottom of the frame with a RBI single. A bases loaded walk by Joseba San Andres evened the score in the fifth. Fidel Mane Torres (W 3-3) allowed six hits, two unearned runs and three walks in a ten-inning complete game victory. He struck out nine. Rafael Gomera (L 2-2) took the loss in relief of starter Roman Carrasco, who issued six hits, two runs and six bb through nine innings.
Game 2:

Kelvin Marianucci went 3-for-4 with a homerun, a double, three runs scored and three RBI to lead San Inazio to a 9-2 win in game two of the twin bill. Asier Izaguirre and Carlos Vicario added two RBI apiece. Luis Hernandez reached base five times. Alberto Magallon (W 3-2) conceded eight hits, two runs (1 ER) and two bb in 6 1/3 innings. Diego Corvalan (L 0-4) was responsible for four hits and two runs in one inning of work.
CB Viladecans – El Llano 15-0 (5), 13-2 (7)
Game 1:

Pol Llopis (W 3-2) struck out 14 of the 17 batters he faced in five scoreless no-hit innings to lead Viladecans to a 15-0 shutout over El Llano. Llopis only gave up three walks. He additionally picked off one of these three base runners in the first. The offense blew things wide open in the fourth, when they put seven runs on the board. Miguel Catalan went deep and led the team going 3-for-4 with three runs scored and three RBI. David Porcar also scored three times. Felix Cano Jr. drove in three. Nuevo de la Cruz (L 0-4) gave up 15 hits, 15 runs (6 ER) and three bb in four-plus innings, although he didn’t get much help from the defense, as eight errors were committed by the team from Gijon.
Game 2:

Viladecans continued to score in every frame they got to the plate in game two en route to a seven-inning 13-2 win. Ten different players scored at least a run, eight picked up RBIs. Miguel Luengo (W 1-0) struck out twelve batters in seven innings, allowing two unearned runs on five hits. Ivan Martin (L 0-2) gave up six hits, eight runs (7 ER) and four walks in two-plus innings.
FC Barcelona – CD Pamplona 5-0, 10-0 (8)

After last weekend’s two losses against Sant Boi, the FC Barcelona got back into winning lane with two shutouts over CD Pamplona. In game one Delio Miguel Martinez (W 1-0) got the starting nod for the first time this season, allowing just one hit and a walk in seven innings to highlight a 5-0 victory. He struck out ten. Jason Friedman, who had started during the first four games, completed the one-hitter with two scoreless frames. Orlando Diaz had the big offensive hit in the game, clearing the bases with a double in the bottom of the fifth. Rafael Llames had put Barcelona in front in the fourth, when he drove in the go-ahead run with a triple and later scored on a wild pitch. Marcos Castillo (L 1-5) was charged with seven hits, five runs and two bb in eight innings.
Game 2:

Barcelona completed the sweep on Sunday morning with a 10-0 victory. Pedro Pablo Belmonte (W 4-1) pitched six scoreless four-hit innings for the win. Oscar Jimenez gave up just one more base hit to complete the five-hitter. The two hurlers combined to strike out eleven batters. Oscar Angulo went 4-for-5 with a double, two runs scored and four RBI. Emmanuel Febles reached base four times and crossed the plate twice. Juan Redin (L 2-2) gave up nine hits, eight runs (4 ER) and five bb in five innings.
Baseball Navarra – CB Sant Boi 0-5, 2-11

Even Baseball Navarra couldn’t stop Sant Boi in the Division de Honor. After defeating the Tenerife Marlins twice last week, the undefeated leader ended the winning streak of the Pamplona-based club. In game one Jose Guanchez (W 3-0) and Junior Guerra combined to throw nine scoreless innings in a 5-0 shutout. They allowed eight hits and two walks, while striking out eight. Rafael Rivas scored twice for CB, which needed just one RBI to put five runs on the board. Juan Jose Lopez (L 3-2) issued four hits, four runs (2 ER) and three walks in six innings, striking out nine.
Game 2:

The second game was decided early. Sant Boi started fast, taking an 8-0 lead after the second en route to an 11-2 win. Daniel Martinez and Jose Luis Riera went a 7-for-8 with three runs scored and four RBI. Marc Carrillo drove in two. Rafael Rivas scored twice. Pedro Luis Peraza (W 3-0) surrendered two hits, a run and three walks in five innings. Andres Casado (L 2-2) gave up eight runs on seven hits in 1 1/3 innings for the loss.
Tenerife Marlins Puerto Cruz – Astros Valencia 6-1, 6-4

One week before their showdown with Sant Boi, the Tenerife Marlins hosted the improved Astros at home. In game one it was Richard Montiel who broke a scoreless tie in the bottom of the fifth with a two-run homerun over the right field fence. After Valencia cut the deficit in a half in the sixth, Puerto Cruz added four more runs in the seventh and eighth to seal a 6-1 win. Nguyen Boulet and Montiel collected three hits each. Sandel Cuevas reached base four times for the guests and crossed the plate for their lone run. Leslie Nacar (W 4-2) surrendered six hits, a run and four walks in eight innings. He struck out twelve. John Scott Dunn (L 3-3) took the loss after seven innings, eleven hits, three runs and three walks.
Game 2:

In the second game Tenerife prevailed 6-4 against Valencia. Luis Landaeta put the Marlins back in front in the bottom of the sixth with a solo shot. Nguyen Boulet and Victor Lopez added insurance runs in the seventh and eighth with a RBI single and another solo homerun. The Astros had erased a 1-3 deficit in the top of the third. Sandel Cuevas continued his hot streak with three RBI singles in the game. Ivan Granados (W 4-2) allowed eight hits, three runs (1 ER) and two walks in eight innings, striking out seven. Jordi Valles (L 1-3), who already had pitched in game one, took the loss in relief of Luis Galicia.
