The makeup game between the Therwil Flyers and the Embrach Mustangs consisted of offensive outbursts by both clubs. In the first three innings, the Flyers put up 10 runs, courtesy of 9 hits and 2 walks and 2 errors. Doing most of the damage was Flyers hitter, Reto Siegel, who was 3-3 with a home run. Even with this large lead to over come, the Mustangs offense did its best, scoring 2 runs in the 4th,5th,6th,and 7th innings. The majority of the offense came from Mustangs import player, Andrew Wong, who finished the game going 4-4 with 2 home runs. Fortunately for the Flyers, relief pitcher Adrian Kaufmann was able to close the game out with a scoreless ninth inning to preserve the Flyers’ 26th win of the season. Offensive standouts for the game were Reto Siegel who was 3-3 with a home run and Ianis Boutaloup who was 2-5 with 2 rbi and 4 runs scored. Final score was 14-10 in favor of the Flyers.
