Novara United ended a 16-game losing streak with a 4-2 victory over the North East Knights on Thursday evening. Jean Toledo (W) struck out 12 batters in eight innings, allowing five hits, two runs and two walks to win. He was opposed by Rodney Rodriguez (L) who collected even 14 strikeouts in six innings, but also conceded six hits, three runs and three bb. Robert Perez capped a three-run game changing rally in the bottom of the third to put Novara up in front.

Cariparma Parma scored three runs in the fourth and six in the sixth to prevail 9-1 against IBL leader T&A San Marino. Stefano De Simoni and Orlando Munoz picked up two RBI each. Davide Dallospedale and Marco Yepez scored twice. Marco Grifantini (W) pitched 5 1/3 frames to receive the win. Chris Staehely (L) got the start for the Titans and was charged with the loss, issuing five runs on six hits and four bb in six-plus innings.
