Recap: Division de Honor Teams ready for the King’s Cup

6th Match Day Spanish National League Honour Division

CB Barcelona began the Spanish League 6 ª Matchday winning his two matches as visitor to San Inazio Bilbao Bizkaia 0-6 and 1-10. The starter Jose L. Hernández (6-0, 7IP, 8K’s) shutouts his rivals and it is kept unbeated. Abel Jiménez RF (5Ab, 1run, 2hit, 2rbi – 3B) had a good offensive performance to support his team. Eduardo Villacís (0-1, 4IP) lost the game. Jorge Balboa (5-0, 8IP, 8K’s) won the second match and Jose L. Riera1B (5Ab, 2run, 4hit, 3rbi – 2B) was most emphasized to the offensive. Alberto Magallón (2-3, 4IP, 2K’s) was the losing pitcher.

In Sant Boi of Llobregat the guest team Valencia Astros defeated the hosts two times 2-3 and 6-14. In the first match, Trevor Caughey (5-0, 9IP, 10K’s) pitched complete game to win and Xavier Civit (0-1, 9IP, 7K’s) lost, also in complete work. B. S. Ochoa C (4Ab, 1run, 2hit, 1rbi – 2B) added up with his bat to the winners. In the second match, Pedro P. Belmonte (5-1, 7IP, 8K’s) was the winning pitcher and S. Cuevas 1B (4Ab, 2run, 3hit, 4rbi – (2) 2B) the best batter of the game. Rubén D. Fente (2-3, 7.1IP, 6K’s) was the defeated pitcher.

Béisbol Navarra received in Burlada to the Halcones de Vigo and gained both matches 12-0 (KO, 7inn) and 9-7. Harold Y. Rumión (2-3, 7IP, 8K’s) threw shutouts and X. González DH (2Ab, 2run, 2hit, 1rbi) helped with his bat. Ronny Materano lost the game. Andrés Casado won (3-1, 5IP, 7K’s) the second match as reliever and Emmanuel Febles SS (5Ab, 1run, 3hit, 2rbi – 2B) had a good offensive perfomance. Alberto Jubera lost was the losing pitcher.

C.B. Viladecans was the local team against Pamplona and it was imposed in both gamest, 5-0 and 14-1 (KO, 7inn). Juan C. Campos (3-3, 9IP, 12K’s) didn’t allow runs to the opposite line-up and R. Peguero 2B (4Ab, 2run, 2hit) scored a couple runs for Viladecans. Alexis J. Fumero (2-2, 6.2IP, 3K’s) was the losing pitcher. On Sunday it won Miquel Luengo (1-3, 5IP, 3K’s) and D. Niño C (5Ab, 1run, 3hit, 4rbi – 3B) had a great offensive match. Eneko del Burgo (3-2, 3.1IP, 4K’s) lost the game.

In Gijón the Tenerife Marlins took both victories to El Llano, 2-12 and 0-9 respectively. Leslie Nácar (3-2, 8IP, 8K’s) won the match with the core line-up “on fire” included E. Franco 2B and J.M. Melendez LF homeruns. Wilquin Escanio (0-6, 4.1IP) was the loser. In the following game Lowuin Sacramento (4-2, 8IP, 6K’s) was the winner and again the whole equipment answered with the bat, emphasizing Dewis Navarro LF (5Ab, 3hit, 3rbi – 2B). Javier J. Flowers (1-4, 4.2, 1K) lost the match.

The following weekend there will no be League’s Matchday because is disputed the King’s Cup in Barcelona. They will face for a position in the final CB Barcelona and CB Viladecans and in another semi-final CBS Sant Boi and Tenerife Marlins.

On April 14 and 15 the League is restarted by the following matches: San Inazio Bilbao Bizkaia receives to the Astros de Valencia; CBS Sant Boi plays as local against the Béisbol Navarra; Halcones de Vigo and CB Viladecans will playing in Bembrive; Pamplona and El Llano in Burlada; and CB Barcelona receives the visit of the Marlins de Tenerife.
