9ª Matchday of Spanish League of Honor’s Division (05 and 06/05/2012)

Héctor Perozo broke a 1-1 eighth-inning tie with a leadoff home run off Astros starter Trevor Caughey in order that the local team Béisbol Navarra imposed 2-1. In a pitcher’s duel Harold Y. Rumion (4-4) pitched complete game to obtain this victory in the series first match. Caughey lost the match. In the second one Navarre took advantage of fourth big inning to score four runs, enough to win the game 4 to 3. Andrés Casado (5-2) won the match and Juan M. Marte (1) saved the game to close the victory. For the Astros Pedro P. Belmonte (6-3) was the losing pitcher.

In El Fango, the locals San Inazio Bilbao Bizkai and CB Viladecans shared victories. In the first match the guest starter Juan C. Campos (6-3) limited to one only run to San Inazio line-up and his team did the offensive work to won the match 8 to 1. The starter Jose V. Romero (0-1) worked only four innings and lost the game. Another match went to the San Inazio 6 to 4. Alberto Magallón (3-3) won and the reliever Miquel Luengo (2-4) lost the game after allowing three runs in the sixth inning.

CBS Sant Boi won his two games as local to El Llano, 7-2 and 3-2. At the first match Lionel Hernández (1-0) worked complete to won the match with the support of R. Llames and R. Noriega, those who batted-in four runs and seven hits in nine at bat chance between both of them. Héctor Velázquez (0-1) lost the game. The second match, much more disputed, it was win by Rubén D. Fente (5-3) who pitched whole game too. Javier J. Flores (1-5) lost the game.

The Marlins of Tenerife shutouts two times to the Halcones de Vigo in his visit to Bembrive. Leslie Nácar (5-2) strike out seventeen batters and Jose L. Salazar batted-in two runs in order that the visitors were winning 3-0. Jose R. Marte (0-4) lost the match. The second game was decided by KO (7 inn) 14 to 0. Lowuin Sacramento (7-2) won the game in complete work and with a line-up very succeeded, included the pitchers Nácar and Rizo who had at bat chance. Jose D. Cabral (0-5) was the losing pitcher.

In Burlada the CB Barcelona won as visitor his two games to the Pamplona. In the first match the visitors scored four careers in the eighth inning to put forward in the scoreboard and to end up by winning the game 7-4. Jose L. Hernández (7-1) won the game in eight inning’s labour. Alexis J. Fumero (2-5) was the loser. In the second game Jorge Balboa (6-1) pitched a no-hitter and the guest offensive had a seventeen-hits great batting perfomance, included Cepin and Angulo homers, to win by KO (5 inn)15 to 0. Eneko del Burgo (4-4) lost the game.

Next weekend, 13/05/2012, closes the first round League with the suspended series recovery. In Bilbao they will play San Inazio Bilbao Bizkaia and Astros de Valencia, correspondent to the seventh matchday and in Gijon there will play El Llano and Halcones de Vigo, series corresponding to the eighth matchday.
