The Bern Cardinals scored eight runs in the opening period of a 19-8 eight-inning win over the Espoo Expos. Raphael Hanzi homered for the Cards and picked up the win in relief. Vitus Huber scored three times and drove in three. Jukka-Pekka Kurvinen hit a two-run homerun and drove in three for the Finnish champion. Andras Janosi (L) took the loss.

Technika Brno won its third game in three days, overpowering Kranjski Lisjaki 14-2 in seven innings. M. Koci and J. Marek went deep and combined for five RBI. Marek scored three times overall in the game. Sinko had three hits and a Run for Kranjski. Koci (W) also allowed just six hits in five scoreless innings for the win. Rok Krmelj (L) took the loss.

The Athletics Attnang-Puchheim already led 12-4 going into the eighth inning, when they put 13 runs on the board to blow a 25-4 victory over Slovan Bratislava wide open. Josh Castanza highlighted the big rally with a three-run homerun. He and L. Schleicher combined for seven runs and ten RBI in the game. L. Schwecherl went 3-for-4 with four runs and three RBI. H. Pointner scored five times. The A’s collected a whopping 21 walks, going along their 14 hits. Thomas Schrittwieser (W) went 5 2/3 innings for the win. Michal Esmir (L) took the loss.
