Head coach Ben Bizier is going to leave the German Baseball-Bundesliga club PULHEIM GOPHERS. He will return to the United States to work as an assistant coach. He was at the helm in Pulheim for three years, leading the club from the 3rd to the 1st league, where they won just seven of the 28 games in 2009 so far. This probably will result in a seventh-place finish and a relegation series this fall. Bizier will leave the team before such a series and the front office looks for a short-term replacement to fill the void until a permanent solution is found.
