Position: Catcher

2011 Season: The 18-year-old Andy Paz, who was born in Cuba, but is living in France since a couple of years, made his professional debut in the Dominican Summer League this year. The catcher batted a solid .315/.451/.356 with three doubles, eight runs and seven RBI. He was mostly used behind the plate, where he threw out 19 of 40 runners trying to steal (48 percent).
