2010 Season: After signing his pro contract with the Atlanta Braves organization in the spring of 2009, the 18-year-old Dutch outfielder Ruben Rijkhof who grew up in Spain made his debut in the Dominican Summer League this summer. He appeared in only four games for the DSL Braves, collecting one hit in twelve at-bats. He walked four times, scored three runs and drove in another. However he also struck out eight times in 16 plate appearances.
