Preview: Namur Angels face Mortsel Stars in 3 Games in Belgian Baseball

On Thursday the Hoboken Pioneers defeated the Deurne Spartans 9-6 in a make-up game. The defending champion solidified first place in the standings of the Belgian First Division with the win and finished up preparations before the European Cup in San Marino next week.

The Namur Angels will represent Belgium in the European Cup Qualifier, which they also host. Before that tournament commence on June 11, they have a couple of games left. After splitting the last four games against the Antwerp Eagles and Spartans, Namur is facing the Mortsel Stars in a three-game series this weekend. The other two matchups feature the Brasschaat Braves against the Borgerhout Squirrels and the Eagles against Deurne.
