Posted on May 19, 2011May 19, 2011 by philipp

The Italian Baseball League opens another set of three-game series on Thursday evening. Three games will be played tonight, as Cariparma Parma hosts Danesi Nettuno in the RAI Sport game. The defending champion will again miss the injured Jesus Silva and probably goes with Mihai Burlea as starting pitcher. Nettuno is missing Juan Camilo and probably Pablo Ambrosino.

Also on Thursday Telemarket Rimini takes on Montepaschi Grosseto. The Pirates will use Dushan Ruzic, Enorbel Marquez-Ramirez and Sandy Patrone as starters. Grosseto is appointing Jean Granado, Chris Cooper and Riccardo De Santis. The Orioles will miss the injured Luca Bischeri and Andrea De Santis and are expected to play Jhonny Carvajal as shortstop and Luis Maza in center field. In the third matchup Unipol Bologna hosts the North East Knights. On Friday T&A San Marino and Novara United will follow.
