The actual competition in the Division de Honor has taken a back seat in the last two weeks, thanks to the decision by the board of directors at the FC Barcelona to drastically reduce the budget for all the non-football sections of the organization, including cutting baseball from the program. You can support baseball’s cause by attending the two games between the FC Barcelona and Halcones de Vigo on Saturday. First pitch at Montjuic is scheduled for 3pm. There is also a Facebook page.
