Preview: Draci meets Technika on Friday in Extraleague

Posted on June 22, 2012 by philipp

It is an interesting regular season so far in the Czech Extraleague. No team is dominating and separating themselves from the pack. In fact between the teams tied for fifth place in the standings Kotlarka Prague and Hrosi Brno and leader Draci Brno there is just a difference of three wins after 28 respective 26 games. With the exception of the winless Olympia Blansko, all clubs can come through with a surprise. A testament was the 6-1 win by Skokani Olomouc over Draci Brno on Tuesday. One day later Hrosi Brno edged out a 10-9 victory over Olympia Blansko. On Friday the teams in first and second, Draci and Technika Brno will meet before a full game day with four doubleheaders sends the players into the Prague Baseball Week break.

Results:
Tuesday, June 19:
Draci Brno – Skokani Olomouc 1-6
Wednesday, June 20:
Olympia Blansko – Hrosi Brno 9-10
