Preview: Astros take on Marlins in Division de Honor

Posted on April 5, 2013April 5, 2013 by philipp

The Spanish Division de Honor resumes play one week after the Copa del Rey. The Tenerife Marlins beat CB Barcelona to win the Spanish Cup. This week the Marlins travel to Valencia for a doubleheader on Saturday. The Astros, last year’s regular season winner, struggled out of the starting gate, splitting the first four games in the Division de Honor and finishing in fourth in the Copa del Rey.

The Marlins are also 2-2, however they have played CB Barcelona and a heavily improved CD Pamplona squad so far. Pamplona is having the bye this weekend, while co-leader CBS Sant Boi will host El Llano at home. In other matchups CB Viladecans takes on Baseball Navarra and San Inazio Bilbao squares off against Barcelona.
