The second day started with a game between France and USA Athletes. France lost the first game against Croatia and if they wanted a promotion to Friday’s semifinal, they needed a win the game. Finally France won the game 9-2 and they remain in the race for a semifinal spot. Also for USA Athletes nothing is lost, if they beat Croatia on Thursday.

In the second game at central field in group A, Sweden, which had lost to the Czech National Team on day one, met with the Czech Under 21 Squad. The young guns already had a win on their side and secured a spot in the semis with a second victory. The Czech Under 21 demonstrated a good performance and won by a score of 8-5. On the other side, a little bit surprising that Sweden lost and has no chance to win the tournament now.

The second day game in group B brought a close result, as Croatia won 2-0 against Slovakia getting their second win of the event. They still need a win in game three against USA Athletes to clinch first place and could drop to third with a loss.

The evening game on Wednesday was postponed to Thursday afternoon due to heavy rain. So the Czech National Team must wait to qualify for the semis.
