The 2019 Prague Baseball Week started on Tuesday with four games. In Group A Russia beat Belarus 13-0, highlighted by a nine-run fifth inning. Aleks Vasilev went deep and drove in five runs. Andrei Lobanov struck out 11 in seven two-hit innings. In the second game in Group A the Czech U19 National Team prevailed 7-1 over John Hopkins University. Jan Novak and Tomas Ondra combined for 15 strikeouts.
In Group B the 3n2 International Stars beat the Future Stars 5-2. Austin Gallagher hit a home run and drove in three runs for the International Stars. Additionally the Stuttgart Reds downed Poland 5-1. Antonio Horvatic struck out 11 in 8 1/3 innings to lead Stuttgart to the win. Danilo Weber and Radoslaw Zajda hit home runs.
