The selection of American players AIST has won the 2010 Prague Baseball Week. They defeated Russia 7-1 in the title game on Saturday evening at the Eagles ballpark in Prague Krc. Three runs in the fifth and four in the ninth sealed the win.

It already was the third game for AIST on the day, as they beat Israel 10-2 and the Czech Under-21 squad 6-5 in the afternoon. With the latter win, which was secured through a five-run sixth, they reached the finals. Russia had crushed the Czech Junior National Team 15-5 to clinch their spot.

Croatia, which used the Prague Baseball Week in preparation for the upcoming European Championship in Germany, concluded the tournament with a 3-3 record after prevailing 6-4 against Austria. They will remain in Prague for the next couple of days, playing some scrimmages against local clubs.
