The Rouen Huskies are trying to defend the lone remaining French spot in the 2011 European Cups at home against the Solingen Alligators and Olimpija Karlovac this weekend. Meanwhile the other teams from the Elite League will kick off the postseason schedule. Similar to last year the playoffs and playdowns will be played in a round-robin format with three games per series scheduled each weekend.
