Playoffs start in French Elite League

After one month with few games in France, the eight teams will kick off the postseason in the Elite League this weekend. The playoffs again will be held in a round-robin format, though this year they will play three games per series each weekend with the four teams starting with a clean 0-0 record. The playdowns will also be played in a round-robin format, but with two games each weekend and the teams will hold on to their wins out of the regular season.

September 5th/6th (Saturday 3pm, Sunday, 11am/2.30pm CET)
Rouen Huskies – Savigny Lions
Montpellier Barracudas – Templiers Senart

September 6th:
La Guerche Hawks – Arvernes Clermont-Ferrand
Stade Toulousain – Montigny Cougars
(doubleheaders starting at 11am CET)
