Play resumes at Women’s Baseball World Cup in Venezuela

Revised schedule announced as tournament set to move to Maracay, Venezuela.

After the suspension of games, the IBAF has announced the revised schedule that will see the tournament restart in Maracay Venezuela.

The schedule will not include Hong Kong, as they have elected to withdraw from the competition and return home to Hong Kong.

The schedule for what will be the 3rd day of play will have two stadiums in operation, “Aviacion” stadium and “Jose Perez C.” stadium in Maracay.

All the delegations will be moved to Maracay in conjunction with the games.

Schedule Games, August 15:

  • South Korea Vs. USA, 10 am, Estadio Aviación
  • Japan Vs. South Korea, 2 pm, Estadio Aviación
  • Cuba Vs. USA, 6pm, Estadio Aviación
  • Puerto Rico Vs. Cuba, 10 am, Estadio José Perez C.
  • Australia Vs. Netherlands, 3 pm , Estadio José Perez C.
  • Chinese Taipei Vs Venezuela, 7pm, Estadio José Perez C.
