The KONICA MINOLTA PIONIERS shut out MR COCKER HCAW 10-0 in eight innings on Tuesday in a make-up game of Sunday’s rainout. Ryan Murphy allowed just two hits in six innings, while striking out nine. Jan Rehacek and Andley Simmons completed the two-hitter with four strikeouts in the remaining two frames. Mervin Gario went four-for-four with two doubles, three runs scored and three RBI.

A new game day in the Dutch Hoofdklasse is already scheduled for Thursday afternoon. The PIONIERS, which are in second place, will take on CORENDON KINHEIM, which follows two games behind. Leader L&D AMSTERDAM will face MR COCKER. The other two three-game series will be between DOOR NEPTUNUS and MEDIA MONKS RCH, respective SPARTA/FEYENOORD and ADO.
