Philipp Von Soosten joins HSV Stealers

Outfielder Philipp VON SOOSTEN is leaving the Cologne Cardinals and is joining the HSV Stealers. He was introduced during a soccer game last weekend.

The lefty hitter and thrower is 28 years old. He hit .333 (OBP .448/ SLG .578) with eight runs scored and twelve RBI in 15 games last season. He is in the Baseball-Bundesliga since eight years and won the German Championship four times.

    Von Soosten is a RH thrower and usually plays 3B.

    According to Baseball-Softball.de he is a lefty and played twelve of 15 games in the outfield last year.
