On Saturday, February 4 the European Softball Federation (ESF) and the Confederation of European Baseball (CEB) are holding their annual combined ESF-CEB Congress in Belgrade, Serbia. While there is only one candidate (Gabriel Waage/Czech Republic) to succeed Andre van Overbeek (Netherlands) as ESF President, there had been three for the CEB Presidency.
However on Wednesday Petr Ditrich from the Czech Republic withdrew his candidacy and instead only will run to become 1st Vice President of CEB. This leaves current CEB President Jan Esselman (Netherlands) and Didier Seminet (France) as only two candidates in the race. Mister-Baseball.com had published an exclusive interview with all three candidates last Friday.
