Patrice Briones returns to France

According to Bafinfos.com starting pitcher Patrice Briones will leave the Spanish Division de Honor club CD Pamplona to return to France. He is going to join the Nationale 1 club Pessac Panthers (2nd Division in France). In 2009 he had a 2-3 record with an ERA of 3.95 in seven games (six starts). He struck out 39 batters in 43 1/3 innings, while walking eleven. He also had a .172 batting average (OBP .351/SLG .241) in 14 games.
