In the French Division I it looks like the Rouen Huskies will see their reign end. They lost games one and two of the semi-final series against Paris UC last weekend and are one loss away of missing the finals. Rouen has won ten of the last eleven championships in French Baseball, nine in a row.
Paris used some timely hits to down the Huskies 3-2 and 5-4. After Rouen barely missed out on the tie in game one, they were able to come back in the ninth in game two. However PUC countered with a run in the tenth to prevail anyway.
In the second semi-final the Templiers Senart are leading 2-0 against the Montpellier Barracudas. It didn’t offer the same drama like the Rouen-Paris matchup, as Senart used strong pitching and defense in 7-1 and 4-0 wins.
