Paris UC hosts Rouen Huskies in French Elite League

Posted on April 23, 2010April 23, 2010 by philipp

After last weekend’s matchup with Stade Toulousain got postponed due to the volcano ashes, the defending champion Rouen Huskies will travel to Paris on Sunday to take on the record champion. According to Bafinfos.com Keino Perez probably misses the doubleheader, while Robin Roy could return to the mound after overcoming an injury. Rouen’s players not only will meet their former teammates Nicolas Dubaut, Flavien Peron and Olivier Israel, but possibly also Ian Young, who is going to play a few games for PUC this season. You can follow the two games via live play by play.

Montpellier’s head coach Jean-Michel Mayeur used the bye week to travel to Washington, D.C. with a bunch of junior players between ages 15 and 20 from the local training center to play high school teams and to watch a MLB game of the Baltimore Orioles. They are back and Mayeur will join the Barracudas to Toulouse. The Savigny Lions will host the Montigny Cougars in the third matchup of the game day, but will play without the injured Tim Stewart and Boubakar Guaye according to Bafinfos.com.
