Posted on March 11, 2015March 11, 2015 by philipp

American outfielder Matt Martin is joining the Montpellier Barracudas for the 2015 season. It will be his fifth year in European Baseball, but the first in France. It will be his third club after the Untouchables Paderborn until 2013 and the Dortmund Wanderers last season. He will be re-united in Montpellier with former Paderborn teammate Robert Herrmann. He will take the spot of Andy Pitcher in the lineup, who has left the Barracudas for Canada. He batted .310/.379/.357 with eight runs and eight RBI in 24 games for the Wanderers in 2014.
