Opening Day in German Baseball-Bundesliga

Posted on March 31, 2017 by philipp

On Friday the German Baseball-Bundesliga is getting underway with a night game between the Heidenheim Heidekoepfe and the Munich-Haar Disciples. Both teams have added new import players as reported and look to play a crucial role in a tight race for the play-offs in the southern division.

Also in week one the Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg travel to the revamped Mannheim Tornados. The promoted Saarlouis Hornets will be on the road to play against the Bad Homburg Hornets. As well in the south the Stuttgart Reds host reigning champion Mainz Athletics.

In the north two doubleheaders will be on the schedule. On Saturday the Solingen Alligators take on the second promoted club with the Dohren Wild Farmers. On Sunday the Dortmund Wanderers square off against the Cologne Cardinals.
