In the Dutch Hoofdklasse four games were played on Thursday evening. Curacao Neptunus defeated HCAW 5-3. Gianison Boekhoudt and Dashenko Ricardo had two RBI apiece to pace Rotterdam to a comeback win. HCAW led 3-2 after the fourth inning, but the reigning champion fought back and turned the score around.

De Glaskoning Twins shut out DSS 10-0 in eight innings. Five runs in the third and four in the sixth blew the score wide open. Adrian Anthony went deep and drove in three. Jeffrey Arends collected three hits, two runs and two RBI. Justin Erasmus, Ben van Nuffel and Matthew Latta conceded eight combined walks, but kept DSS off the board.

The Vaessen Pioniers provided the lone road win on Thursday, as they prevailed 4-3 over Kinheim. The Pioniers took a 4-0 lead after six innings and were in cruise control for the win. However a three-run rally in the bottom of the ninth made things interesting. However a strikeout with runners on first and second ended the contest. Kevin Dirksen drove in two for Hoofddorp.

L&D Amsterdam won 10-0 over UVV in game, which ended due to mercy rule after the seventh. Kevin Heijstek pitched a complete game five-hitter. His offense scored three runs each in the third, fifth and sixth. Gilmer Lampe, Rashid Gerard and Jesse Aussems collected two RBI apiece.
