Oolders Omaco Sparks Haarlem has won the Dutch Golden League Softball 2016. They beat Terrasvogels 1-0 in the decisive match on Saturday. The winning run was scored in the first extra inning, when Chantal Versluis crossed the plate through a fielder’s choice groundball to second by Jenny Kinburn. Rebecca Someru earned the win in the pitcher’s circle with eight scoreless three-hit innings. She struck out ten and out-dueled Danielle Bonnet. Britt Vonk had all three hits for Terrasvogels.
