OF Kelvin Marianucci to San Inazio Bilbao

Posted on March 19, 2008March 19, 2008 by philipp

San Inazio Bilbao brings in one of the strongest outfielder in the Spanish Honor Division. Kelvin MARIANUCCI is coming from CD Arga. He batted .417 (OBP .489/SLG .592) with 14 extra base hits, 22 runs scored and 30 RBI in 2007. He was ranked in the top five of the leaders in batting average, on base percentage, slugging percentage and runs batted in.

The Dominican also played in Italy in the past. He hit .220 (.280/.303) for Colavita Anzio in 2002. Besides his outfield and batting skills, he is also capable to pitch a few innings from time to time. In 2002 during his stint with Anzio he had an ERA of 3.86 in 39.2 innings pitched. But in the last few years in Spain he didn’t got to the mound that often.
