Novara continues to strengthen its roster, as they return to the Italian Baseball League in 2016. After adding Yulman Ribeiro, Jairo Marquez and Joe Wittig, they have signed right-handed pitcher Jonathan Loasigia from Nicaragua. The 21-year-old played two seasons in the Dominican Summer League for the San Francisco Giants in 2013 and 2014. He had an ERA of 2.75 in 68 2/3 innings during that time.
