The North East Knights have added the soon to be 20-year-old Alessandro Grimaudo to the roster for the 2013 season. He is coming as part of a loan agreement from Danesi Nettuno to Godo. With 17 years he debuted in the Serie A2 for Nettuno 2 in 2009. Last year he split time between IBL and IBL2. In the Italian Baseball League the first baseman/outfielder batted .211/.253/.211 with five runs and three RBI in 30 games (17 starts). With the Knights he is most likely receiving more regular playing time, which can only help his development.
