The first real game day after the World Port Tournament in the Dutch Hoofdklasse started with a No-Hitter. Orlando Yntema led Curacao Neptunus Rotterdam to a 5-0 shutout over UVV. The Dutch national teamer issued only three walks in nine scoreless no-hit innings, while striking out eight. He threw 125 pitches and faced just two batters over the minimum. L&D Amsterdam overcame a three-run ninth to defeat DSS 4-3, solidifying first place in the standings. Amsterdam took a 3-0 lead in the second and added an insurance run in the seventh before the team from Haarlem threatened to come back in the ninth. Kevin Heijstek pitched eight scoreless innings for the win. Tim Halderman took the loss.

HCAW Bussum stunned the Vaessen Pioniers 8-2 in seven innings. HCAW took a quick 5-1 lead and continued to score afterwards to down the number four in the standings. Roy Seltenrijch had three hits. Maickel Rietel and Steven van Groningen kept the Pioniers to two runs on five hits. Elton Koeiman took the loss.

Corendon Kinheim answered a two-run top of the first with three runs in the bottom half and then added six more runs in the fifth and sixth of a 9-2 victory over Mampaey The Hawks. Bryan Engelhardt went deep and scored three times. Dashenko Ricardo drove in three. Scott Ronnenbergh earned the win with 2 1/3 innings of scoreless no-hit relief. Quinn Tramm took the loss.
