New head coach for Haar Disciples

Posted on November 28, 2007November 29, 2007 by philipp

Michael ALMSTETTER leaves the Gauting Indians to take over as the new head coach of the Haar Disciples. He worked three years for the local rival. He had already worked as head coach for the Disciples in the past and had led the team into the second division of the German Baseball-Bundesliga. They made their debut in the fist division in 2007 and finished in sixth place of the southern conference.

Christian HAAS, who had worked in Heidenheim, Göppingen and for the German Baseball Academy, will assist ALMSTETTER. He will be responsible for conditioning and the development of the young players. Both will replace Ted KRAMER, who held the coaching position last season.
