The Netherlands have won their pair of Premier 12 warm-ups during their training camp in Curacao. Against an All-Star selection the team of manager Hensley Meulens prevailed 7-0 and 8-1 on Friday and Saturday at the Tio Daou Ballpark in Willemstad.

Rob Cordemans, Diegomar Markwell, Jim Ploeger, Wendell Floranus, Jonathan Balentina, Berry van Driel and Mike Bolsenbroek combined in the shutout on Friday. Dwayne Kemp hit a two-run home run. In game two one day later Jair Jurrjens, Shairon Martis, Juan Carlos Sulbaran, Van Driel, Tom Stuifbergen and Orlando Yntema took the mound. This time Kalian Sams provided the highlight with a three-run home run.

The Netherlands are returning to Europe this week before departing to Taiwan at the end of the month. They will face Chinese Taipei in the Taiwan opener at the Premier 12 on November 9. Other opponents in Group A will be Italy, Cuba, Canada and Puerto Rico.
