The Netherlands have won the U16 Women’s Softball European Championship 2019 in Zagreb, Croatia. They shut out Italy 2-0 in the final on Saturday. A two-run triple by Julia Kwakernaak in the bottom of the third made the difference in the championship game. Yala Zwakman, Robin Verhagen and Isa Zwitzer combined for a two-hitter in the pitcher’s circle.
