Baseball Navarra

The 1-7 Division de Honor club BASEBALL NAVARRA acquired the former Minor League shortstop Larry Infante to strengthen the roster right in time for their matchup against the undefeated TENERIFE MARLINS. Infante, who is 24 years old and from Ocumare del Tuy, Venezuela, played in the Los Angeles Angels organization the past four years, even reaching Triple-A for a couple of games. In 306 games (most on the Single-A level) he batted .262 (OBP .319/SLG .360) with twelve homeruns, 128 runs and 118 RBI. On Saturday he will face the dominating pitchers Leslie Nacar and Ivan Granados of the Spanish champion.

The FC BARCELONA, loser of the two games against the MARLINS last weekend without throwing a pitch, hosts CD PAMLONA this weekend. They will appeal the ruling of the Spanish Federation and hope to make up the two games in Tenerife later this year. The new runner up in the standings, CB SANT BOI faces local rivals CB VILADECANS. HALCONES DE VIGO tries to defend fourth place against SAN INAZIO BILBAO. The ASTROS VALENCIA take on EL LLANO.
