MOSQUITO Athletics and SUPERFUND Wanderers battle for 1st in ABL

For the second time this season, the two leading teams in the Austrian Baseball League will face each other in a doubleheader. With first place on the line, the MOSQUITO ATHLETICS host the SUPERFUND WANDERERS on Saturday in Attnang-Puchheim. On May 24th, the A’s won game one by a score of 2-1. VIENNA prevailed 8-7 in the second part of the twin bill. Since that day ATTNANG-PUCHHEIM hasn’t lost a single game, riding a twelve-game winning streak.

In the battle for fourth place, the BLUE BATS and the VIKINGS are at home this weekend. SCHWECHAT takes on eighth-ranked DORNBIRN INDIANS. KUFSTEIN is playing against the SCHWAZ TIGERS, which are in third.
