Montpellier and Toulouse still in Race for 4th

Posted on July 19, 2008 by philipp

With the top three in the Elite League in France nearly set, all eyes are looking on the race for fourth place in the standings, as this is the last spot available for the playoffs. This weekend the main contenders STADE TOULOUSE and MONTPELLIER BARRACUDAS are at home to make a point in their case.

TOULOUSE is facing the SAVIGNY LIONS and need to stop their three-game losing streak to solidify fourth place. They have two more games played than the BARRACUDAS and they are leading just by percentage points. MONTPELLIER is host to the LA GUERCHE HAWKS, which are also just two games behind, but will conclude their regular season this weekend, as they only have mathematical chances to get into the top four.
