The Royal Spanish Baseball and Softball Federation (RFEBS) announced this weekend that Paco Figueroa no longer will serve as manager of the Spanish National Team. The former national team player has to step down as he got promoted to outfield/base running coach with the Major League team of the Philadelphia Phillies. He however will remain with the federation in a consultant role. A new manager will be appointed soon according to the announcement.
