Major League Baseball has invited 30 players from nine countries for the annual MLB Elite Mini Camp to the brand new facility in Hoofddorp, Netherlands this week. 16 hitters and 14 pitchers between 15 and 18 years old receive instructions from top coaches. From Monday, June 30 to Friday, July 4 two training sessions are scheduled each day. Former MLB All Stars Steve Finley (hitting) and Tom Gordon (pitching) are working on their baseball skillset, strength and conditioning specialist Jeff Krushell to improve the athletic ability of the European prospects.
