MLB Clinic in Barcelona with Jeremy Guthrie and Salvador Perez

Two active MLB players will be in Barcelona next 26th and 27th October, the right-handed Jeremy Guthrie and catcher Salvador Perez both currently playing at Kansas City Royals , the RFEBS Clinic organizes for a pitchers and catchers intended to be held in the Sant Boi baseball field.

Participation in the Clinic is open to all those pitchers and catchers who wish to take this excellent opportunity to learn directly from two active MLB players . Attendance is free.

Participants or clubs must send a list to mail jordi.valles @ rfebs.es or for more information call 93.425.32.07 .

In order to distribute Clinic sessions grouped by age attendees will form two groups , Group 1 with pitchers and catchers aged between 10 and 15 years ( born between 1998 and 2003 ) , and Group 2 with pitchers and catchers aged between 16 and 21 years (born between 1992 and 1997 ) .

Clinic sessions will be developed according to the following program :

Saturday, October 26

12:30 PM . – 13:00 h . : Presentation

13:00 h . – 14:45 h . : Clinic Group 1

14:45 h . – 15:15 h . : Break

15:15 h . – 17:00 h . : Clinic Group 2

Sunday, October 27

09:30 h . – 11:30 h . : Clinic Group 1

11:30 AM. – 12:00 h . : Break and signatures

12:00 PM . – 14:00 h . : Clinic Group 2

Biography of Jeremy Guthrie in MLB

Born in Roseburg (Oregon / USA) , 34 years

Position : RHP

159 MLB games ( 70 wins/89 lost)

ERA : 4.24 Strikeouts : 838

MLB debut in April 2004 with the Cleveland Indians ( 2004-2006 ), passing in 2007 to Baltimore Orioles ( 2007-2011 ) . In 2012 it became part of Colorado Rockies , finishing that year at Kansas City Royals where he is currently the best pitcher on the roster . In 2009 played in the World Baseball Classic with the U.S. team .

Biography of Salvador Perez in MLB

Born in Valencia ( Venezuela ) , 23 years

Position: Catcher

253 games in MLB

Batting average : 301 Homeruns : 27 Runs batted in : 139

MLB debut in August 2011 with Kansas City Royals , a team that in 2012 he extended his contract until 2019. This year he participated in the All Star Game, being the catcher of Mariano Rivera on the day of his honor. Also, this year 2013 played the World Baseball Classic with Team Venezuela.
