Two Dutch minor leaguers got promoted in the last couple of days. 25-year-old pitcher Juan Carlos Sulbaran got called up to Triple-A by the Kansas City Royals. He already dominated in his first start with the Omaha Storm Chasers, allowing just two hits and a run in 6 2/3 innings, while striking out nine. Overall he has an ERA of 4.56 in 21 games (16 starts) this year.
Meanwhile 20-year-old right-handed pitcher Misja Harcksen got promoted from one Rookie league to another. The Los Angeles Dodgers pulled him out of the Arizona Summer League and plugged him to the Odgen Raptors of the Pioneer League. In his first appearance over there he gave up one run on two hits in an inning of relief. Overall he has an ERA of 2.03 in 11 relief appearances.
